1 min. excerpt

Night Shift consists of images of empty urban spaces at night – containing only traces of a person's movement in bleak, yet familiar surroundings. The work examines notions of surveillance of urban spaces and their inhabitants, ambiguities of who is watching who and projections of fear. The viewer follows the protagonist's journey through the city from a distance – both as a passive spectator and as a surveyor, which evokes an unsettling atmosphere within the work.
